My yoga sessions offer you a full sensory experience – not only will your body be moved and stretched physically as I guide you through the asanas (yoga postures) but your senses will be lifted through my customised inspiring music playlists and calmed as you get a head massage with essential oils during savasana (our relaxation at the end of class).
Each session is designed with a theme in mind, which is interweaved in our yoga session through the music and posture sequencing. It could be an anatomical focus (such as hip opening, core strengthening or inversions) or an philosophical focus (such as releasing stored emotional tension or finding strength in adversity).
I also love teaching (and practising!) mindfulness and meditation, restorative and yin yoga and recommend students do at least one of these sessions a week to balance out the more challenging vinyasa sessions.
My Yoga Alliance certified qualification was through the renowned Radiantly Alive Institute in Ubud, Bali. I am currently completing my 500 hour advanced qualification with the incredible Tiffany Cruikshank (Yoga Medicine) focussing on using yoga to improve or heal injuries and medical conditions. This is especially useful when working with private clients as we can develop a personalised program to improve your specific concern.
