But it’s not all just about nutrition!
I am also a firm believer that daily stress and emotions are intertwined with the food you eat and the two affect each other. Which is why I look at all aspects of client’s lifestyles – not just the food they eat.
I also believe in BALANCE. I don’t take an all or nothing approach but believe lifestyle changes should be sustainable and that treats are not something to be scared of or feel guilty about. If you have a chocolate bar/glass of wine/ice cream – fully enjoy and savour it! Just learn how to know when to stop and not to eat it mindlessly as a reaction to stress or emotions. Learn to be in control of your choices.
In 2013 I qualified as a Health and Nutrition Coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York – the largest nutrition school in the world and certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Having seen first-hand the distinct lack of support for female professionals, I started up health coaching programs designed specifically for women. You can find out more about these programs here.
A 300+ hour Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor with the renowned Radiantly Alive in Bali and am currently completing my 500 hour advanced certification with Yoga Medicine, you can find out more about my style of yoga sessions here.
